It’s fair to say the Covid-19 pandemic has brought about much hysteria worldwide, so much so that many people are looking to invest in a safe and secure place for themselves and their loved ones by purchasing space in an underground bunker.
It would appear people do not trust their government to protect them in the event of any major disasters. Many frightened and paranoid people are amongst the one million people around the world who have already signed up for this, with at least 1,000 in the UK.
Vivos is a privately funded venture, building a global network of underground shelters to accommodate thousands of people in the event of a global, life-changing event that could be coming their way.
The plush shelter complexes comfortably accommodate large groups of people in spacious, luxurious living quarters with everything you need for a whole year of autonomous survival.
The US-owned company has reported a 500% increase in the last year since the pandemic started and are currently dealing with a surge in enquiries. Some members of the public have already moved into their bunkers because they are ‘immuno-compromised’ and “terrified” by the rise in Covid-19 cases and are desperate to escape people who could infect them. Many believe the bunkers will keep them safe from the virus or other eventualities such as a solar flare hitting the earth or a killer asteroid.
The cost of your space in a bunker will set you back approximately $35,000 per person, but with deluxe accommodation facilities, an abundant supply of food, gym equipment, round the clock medical and dental treatment et al., it could be a small price to pay for peace of mind.
