A SET of traffic lights on a street in Glasgow, Scotland has been accused of ‘taking the piss’ after motorists were forced to endure another long tailback for the fourth time this week, it has emerged.
Aspokesperson for the Traffic Lights Convention 2017 told our reporters live from the scene:
“We don’t understand why the lights are failing. We’ve fixed everything from changing the bulbs to installing a rewire but they just keep failing. It looks like these lights might be taking the piss.”
It’s not the first time motorists have been held up in long queues in the city. In January this year, the M8 motorway came to a standstill after a snowflake was found on a driver’s windscreen, causing a 12-mile tailback.
