The re-painted plane Boris Johnson uses to fly around the world and insult a large number of foreigners is to appear on a celebrity special edition of Pimp My Ride.
The RAF Voyager has been at the centre of controversy ever since it was revealed that its new paint job cost a whopping £900,000.
Kevin Jenkins, an executive producer on Pimp My Ride, said Boris’s set of airborne wheels was so spectacular it deserved its very own one-hour show.
“Everyone on the team is super excited about the project, and because it’s such a special topic we’re going to call this edition Pimp My Plane,” enthused Mr Jenkins.
“The Voyager used to be in a grey that was so dull it resembled Michael Gove’s underpants. But now it’s really eye-catching, more like Boris And His Technicolour Dreamliner.”
And Mr Jenkins revealed that as well as a new livery, a host of other upgrades had been going on inside the plane. The list includes installing a jacuzzi, emperor-sized bed, cinema, mirrors on the ceiling and even a 5-star restaurant.
He added: “Some people will claim it’s a massive waste of public money. But as Boris himself points out, when you consider the government spaffed £11-million on a track and trace phone app that doesn’t work this is just chicken feed.”
