Switzerland has become the fourth European country to reject a Covid-19 vaccination after demanding more studies be carried out over its safety fears.
Earlier, Sweden, Germany, and France rejected the jab for their 0ver-65s.
The Swissmedic regulatory said there was ‘insufficient data to authorise the vaccine’; Germany cited ‘lack of evidence’ for their part in the rejection, and France have reportedly claimed the vaccine is ‘almost ineffective’.
The move comes as millions of more vaccines have been dispatched, with more companies vying for a spot at the top of the contract table.
It remains to be seen if the small independent country of Switzerland will cave in to the demands of Big Pharma but for now, it’s a clear indication there are still some concerns over the safety of the Covid vaccines.
