Police in the United Kingdom have been granted more power to access information about the whereabouts of its citizens, prompting human rights legal eagles into action.
The move also sees fines increased to £800 to anyone flouting Covid rules. The new measure, signed by Health Secretary Matt Hancock plunges Britain further into dystopian darkness and prompted many legal experts into a cautious commentary.
One leading human rights legal eagle, Adam Wagner, said ‘changes to the law will make it easier for police to enforce people breaking self-isolating rules.’
The country has seen an increase in fines issued as a result of ‘rule-breaking’ that has irked the ruling bodies, but after almost a year, it’s understandable the people are now getting fed up with being told to stay at home, save lives and protect the NHS. How about getting out, save our health, and don’t go anywhere near the NHS because unless you can be tested for Covid, you are of no use as you won’t be helping to prop up the numbers..
